Key facts

The access to Sketch Engine will be funded by the EU through the ELEXIS infrastructure project between 2018 and 2022. The access is provided at no cost to the institutions and applies to non-commercial use only.

BREXIT UPDATE: Access for the UK extended till the project end on 31 March 2022.

Eligible users

All academic institutions (universities, academies of science etc.) in the EU can gain access. ELEXIS observers, irrespective of their location, can also gain access.

Eligible usage

Research and teaching activities including lexicographic work whose results are not to be monetized.

Gaining access

To benefit from the ELEXIS-funded access to Sketch Engine, the institution must have SSO, and fill in the enrolment form.
