One-Click Dictionary Corpora
The One-Click Dictionary Corpora are a set of five specialized corpora created for the EURALEX 2026 study Automatic Drafting of Terminological Dictionaries with One-Click Dictionary for 34 Languages by Marek Blahuš, Miloš Jakubíček, Katarína Petreková and Yingtian Wu.
The corpora cover five languages and terminological domains:
- Arabic – football
- Czech – book publishing
- English – photography
- German – automotive
- Spanish – astronomy
The corpora were created from web content using WebBootCaT, the built-in Sketch Engine tool for automatically creating corpora from the web.
The corpora were used to evaluate the automatic drafting of terminological dictionaries with the One-Click Dictionary feature in Sketch Engine. A terminological dictionary was automatically generated from each corpus and is publicly available in Lexonomy. Both the corpora and the resulting dictionaries are available as open resources.
The One-Click Dictionary system currently supports automatic dictionary drafting for 34 languages.
Part-of-speech tagset and lemmatization
The One-Click Dictionary corpora are part-of-speech tagged, indicating the part of speech and grammatical category of each word using the tagset available for the respective language as of June 2026. The corpus texts are also lemmatized, meaning that each word form in the corpus is assigned to its base form (lemma).

Tools to work with the EURALEX 2026 One-Click Dictionary corpora
A complete set of Sketch Engine tools is available to work with these corpora to generate:
- word sketch – ollocations categorized by grammatical relations
- thesaurus – synonyms and similar words for every word
- keywords – terminology extraction of one-word and multi-word units
- word lists – lists of nouns, verbs, adjectives etc. organized by frequency
- n-grams – frequency list of multi-word units
- concordance – examples in context
- text type analysis – statistics of metadata in the corpus
