List of part-of-speech tagsets available in Sketch Engine
A tagset is a list of part-of-speech tags (POS tags for short), i.e. labels used to indicate the part of speech and sometimes also other grammatical categories (case, tense etc.) of each token in a text corpus.
POS tagging is necessary for features as Word Sketches, thesaurus, term extraction or trends.
This page lists all part-of-speech tagsets used in preloaded corpora in Sketch Engine. Part-of-speech tagsets with user corpora only are not included.
Some languages have more than one available POS tagset.
