Medical corpus: English corpus from the web

The Medical corpus is an English corpus made up of texts collected from the Internet with the focus on the medical domain. The corpus was prepared according to standards described in the document A Corpus Factory for Many Languages (Kilgarriff et al. at LREC 2010). The final size of the corpus totals 33 million words.

Part-of-speech tagset

The Medical web corpus was tagged with the TreeTagger using English Penn Treebank POS tagset.

Tools to work with the English Medical web corpus
